Chiral States of Matter

The main goal of this school is to provide an introduction to chiral phenomena in different systems, such as Weyl semimetals, chiral molecules(CISS) and chiral spin liquids, highlighting their significance and fundamental role in contemporary physics. This includes an overview of symmetry (breaking) effects, discussions of modern calculation approaches, and insights into recent experimental developments. Registration is open to everybody. If you need visa assistance, please make sure to check the corresponding option in the registration form. For your application to be fully considered, please apply before April 15, 2026.

Target Audience

The event is intended for  Master- or PhD- students and PostDocs.

Financial Information and accommodation

Registration, food and accommodation in the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef are included free of charge for all participants. Note that no financial assistance for travelling can be awarded.
